This tradition has been around at least since 1998. In following years (and to this day), the song has been played through speakers plugged into the Electric Tree.
In 07.1, however, due to the moving of Passionfruit to Weis Field and the general lack of organization, Zev Hurwich played it on his guitar rather than through speakers. Unfortunately, few people knew the lyrics to the song.
