Rock Lobster

"Rock Lobster" by The B-52's is a song on the Canon of many sites.

It is traditional to skank to this song. During the line, "Down, down," crouch slowly towards the ground and slap the ground repeatedly; then, jump up when the music returns to its fast tempo. During the final verse, which begins with "Here comes a stingray," many students run through the circle acting out animals or unrelated actions.

Starting in Lan.08.1 there was a movement made by the students to replace Rock Lobster with the Dr. Mario Dance after it's creation by Dan Salvato. It was voted on and was sucessfully taken out of the first session Canon on a one year trial basis. In Lan.09.1 another vote was held and Rock Lobster was offically taken off the first session Canon. A similar movement has not been started in session two.
