Line 1: Line 1:
Fish Stark did day camp CTY for three years at Garrison Forrest in Maryland and Baby CTY for two years at Stanford before coming to Carlisle, where he instantly fell in love with the campus, the traditions, the people, the HUB potatoes, and the whole damn thing in general. He was one of the MCs in the 2008 session two talent show (the one who made all the jokes about sponsorship) and is also infamous for reading his poem "How Cheney Stole Christmas" at poetry night until it got so long that there was hardly any time for anyone else to go (sorry!). He also invented this innovative call for poetry night: "Poetry night! Quad 7! Not as bad as it sounds!" He plans on being a forevermore, even if that means taking Introduction to Creative Writing for five straight years.

CTY has been the best thing that ever happened to me. I made wonderful friends, I had wonderful times, and I took wonderful classes (but who comes for the classes after the first year?) I learned that I wanted to write, I learned how to be proud of being a nerd, I learned how to be funny, how to have fun, and  a million other things it would be impossible to list here. CTY changed my life in a thousand wonderful ways. Our community is like no other and I love returning every year. I love CTY and I love the Passionfruit.
