As far as general terms of usage of this site is concerned, well, it's a wiki. You can really do whatever. However, it is asked that you:

  • provide accurate and readable information;
  • refrain from vandalizing or erasing parts of pages;
  • refrain from making offensive comments anywhere on the site; and
  • completely refrain from changing the text in Essays.

Users who violate any of the above terms of service will be warned on the RealCTY:Community Portal page.

Otherwise, this is your CTY site.

As far as banning users and IPs is concerned:

  • if an IP (oftentimes two IPs) vandalizes a page by placing porn advertisements enclosed in divs anywhere in the page (although it is usually invisible in the article), these IPs should be banned infinetely
  • if a user commits a violation of the above terms, warn them first on the RealCTY:Community Portal page; depending on the harshness of the violation (e.g., deformatting a page being a much greater crime than insulting a specific user), the number of warnings given before banning is at the discretion of admins
    • similarly, depending on the harshness of crimes, and whether or not the user has a positive contribution history, banning may last anywhere between a few hours to an infinetely long period of time
