So, I'm Matthew. You may know me as the Asian with the black hair the lanyard. I must have stuck out like a sore thumb. My friends and I may or may not have been the reason Swine Flu spread so fast and Carlisle shut down in 2009. I mean, we may have had constant Swine Flu parties, were always on top of each other, and were the first ones to get sick, but hey, that doesn't mean anything, right?

Next year, I'm hoping to go to game theory or number theory (as you can see, I like math). I'm hoping to go back to Carlisle, but my second choice would probably be Lancaster.

'''My CTY Experience''' <br>

2009 - My CTY experience was overall a positive one. But as you all probably know, Carlisle was shut down because of an unfortunate outbreak of Swine Flu. Because of this, I missed many essential parts of the CTY experience. We missed 3 of the dances, Starcrash, and I missed Passionfruit. Other than that though, CTY is one really awesome summer camp. I was a HUGE fan of Dodgeball and did every activity that was related to it. I was pretty good at it too. Like most CTYers, we would constantly play Frisbee, during breaks, before class, and on weekend freetime. Meet Markets were especially fun because of the light-up Frisbee one guy had. After meals, we'd couch and play ERS til we were let out (probably why swine flu spread so quickly). Aside from the usual games, we did some wacky stuff and I found the atypical traditions to be fun experiences. The memories I shared with my friends in that week and a half will live on for a long time in my memory.

And if you remember me from anywhere, post here and say something. Yeah.

So I despite the swine flue, I'd say my squirrel year at Carlisle was probably one of the best times of my life ever. I was blessed with an awesome hall filled with fellow squirrels with a love for Frisbee, ERS, and spontaneous dance parties. Cryptology was an engaging class (Viginere FTW) which spawned many inside jokes and good times. The HUB is an amazing place with amazing food, potatoes, Rinas, and best of all, couches! A lot of people complain how Carlisle's Canon is too big, but personally, I love it.
