Some TiPsters are arrogant and like trashing CTY and realCTY, but they can't cause our loyalty or pride to waver. They also contend that CTY has "stolen" traditions, and indeed there are questions about where and when "American Pie" and a few other canon songs first popped up, but rest assured, dearest CTYers, that our traditions (especially at CAR and LAN) are quite distinctive -- and that, according to the TiP wiki, during a session in 2005 a "tradition was borrowed from the Center for Talented youth program [sic] (CTY), where after 'This will be the day that I die' you yell 'die, die, die, die, live, live, live, live, sex, sex, sex, sex, more, more, more, more' and then go back to being sad in your circle."
