Yesterday, the user Equitaurus made edits to both the CTY Holidays and RealCTY:Sandbox pages with messages that I believe relate to the Pride parade at Lancaster. These messages were: "During 17.2, there were reportedly chants of "down with cis" during this parade. + | Hello. You recently deleted a hall of shame entry I made on the JHU page on the basis that I had written it about an incident involving myself in the third person. May I ask why this is a problem? I've seen hall of shame entires written in third person by people who were directly involved and I'm not sure why me doing the same is a problem. Sorry for any inconvenience, if there's anything I can do to edit the deleted entry to adhere to content guidelines, please let me know. Hope you're doing well wherever you are in the world.~Switch |

Hey, just letting you know that I saw your deletion requests on my talk page and that I've dealt with the issue. The pages will be deleted 24 hours from now so people have time to copy the information to their user pages. Thanks for helping RealCTY stay PG and constructive!--Cathynie (talk) 03:55, 30 July 2015 (PDT)
Hey again! I noticed that you changed the Easton page recently, so I'm assuming that you went to Easton sometime recently. As part of some site cleanup, I've changed the Easton page a bit and added in a template/sidebar on the right side. Unfortunately, I don't have many clear pictures of EST yet, so if you have any pictures of the site that you'd like to see on the template and that you feel represent the site as a whole, feel free to contact me here! Thanks! --Cathynie (talk)
Hi—Cathynie mentioned that you might be interested in helping with site moderation (or rather, that you already seem to be doing so). Please let me know on my talk page if you'd be interested in receiving wiki administrator privileges. (This basically comes down to being able to delete pages and ban users, plus my personal hope that you will be active in helping to clean up articles and fight spammy or derogatory edits.) Thanks! --Max W. (talk) 02:02, 13 August 2016 (EDT)
Hi! I'm http://www.realcty.org/wiki/User_talk:Drugstorealien , (I fail at most of these commands, sorry) I saw that you asked me how I knew about the Easton dorms being moved. I got this info from the site packet MyCTY sent to us for Easton this year- the packet has a map where it has #s on campus and it tells you where your dorms are for the year. Thanks -- Nicole : )
- ah okay. Didn't realize site packets were out already! Sarah's Hotspot (talk) 11:21, 11 February 2017 (EST)
Hey Sarah's Hotspot. Let me know if this isn't the best way to reply to your message on my talk page (I can email you directly if you'd prefer).
I don't believe there's any legal issue here. If you think what those users have written is inappropriate, you should feel free to reach out to them and ask them to stop or to reconsider, as well as to undo or revise any of their contributions. If they respond in a way you find outrageous, you're free to ban them. You have admin privileges, so use your judgment. (If I think your judgment is outrageous, I'll let you know—but that seems unlikely.)
Not knowing exactly what the content in question is, I don't have a personal opinion about it, and my guess is that it's either insulting or ridiculing content which is the core issue, rather than full names.

Hi Sarah, it's Drugstorealien.
It's definitely true about what happened at Easton. However, there's no proof saying he had hung himself. I'm absolutely disgusted at the user who had taken my statement made on the Facebook group MLICTY and rephrased it, almost completely. I rewrote it to what we know for now, and took out some unknown inferences made in that section.
Easton situation
Hi, yes, I've spoken to the office, and they will release a public statement, as is customary in this sort of situation. You will understand that not only do parents of those who were attending that particular session have a right to know, but in addition the wider CTY community is to be informed officially. That emailed to parents is only an intermediary statement, not a final letter - before an autopsy is performed, and the authorities have released relevant information, speculation is inherently rife - and RealCTY is not the place where we would like that to happen - we are a public page, and so need to keep in mind the reputation of the organisation.
- Thanks for letting me know there's an intention to release a statement. FYI: it's on local news sites as an apparent suicide per the coroner. Sarah's Hotspot (talk) 12:48, 1 August 2017 (EDT)
