+ | Anyone else bothered by the fact that the equation for a circle is only x^2+y^2=r^2 if the circle originates at point (0,0)? Any other origin and the equation becomes (x-a)^2+(y-b)^2=r^2. But of course, you knew that. And it explains the "usually, but not always" thing... |

Anyone else bothered by the fact that the equation for a circle is only x^2+y^2=r^2 if the circle originates at point (0,0)? Any other origin and the equation becomes (x-a)^2+(y-b)^2=r^2. But of course, you knew that. And it explains the "usually, but not always" thing...
