Dearest Adult CTY Overlords:
Please do not ban our so-called "grass orgies." They provide students with what is perhaps the most relaxed climate for social interaction and building friendships. They kindle strong friendships that last even after session ends, which is very important to many of the students, who are often socially isolated outside of CTY -- before they attend. I implore you to maintain CTY as a place not only of academic education, but of life education and social development. Students have never been known to do anything inappropriate, sexually or otherwise, while lying on the grass with heads on friends' stomachs -- I think you will agree that movement is quite restricted in such a position. We keep our inappropriateness for those situations when we are not lying out in plain view of RAs and other staffers. If nomenclature becomes an issue, I will happily work to oust the word "orgy" from our traditional CTY vocabulary on this site and in as many sessions and sites as I have the influence to do so.
Thank you kindly.

Post-CTY Depression is apparently repaired. Enjoy!
RealCTY, For You, From You
Charlie McGeorge, operator of PCTYD, came up with the idea of collecting anything that CTYers write or record during CTY. In other words, if you journal or write anything or sketch anything while at CTY, please keep it. It'd be great if you could do so and then post things on your Userpages here at RealCTY. Charlie also wants to collect some of the stuff for use in his CTY magazine called "Forevermore." It's still in its early stages, and it doesn't quite look fantastic yet, but if you would allow him to use your accounts, please make note of it wherever you post said accounts on RealCTY (again, Userpages are good), or email them to him (check PCTYD for his email).
Enjoy your summers, everyone!

Full Site Overhaul
This was never performed, but on Christmas Eve, 2007, the Courses pages were all completely redone.
Reminders
Please keep the categories at the bottom of the page; do not write below them.
Please keep the Lexicon alphabetized.
Please keep other general pages divided properly by Site.
New Admins!
Hey all. I'm busy with the trauma that is junior year, so I haven't been able to do RealCTY updates and stuff, and I apologize. I'm also very late with granting adminship, but I finally have. Welcome your two newest admins, Yulia and He Who Must Not Be Named. The latter, I believe, wishes to remain somewhat anonymous, and so I told Voldemort to blot out his name. Yes, that is correct. I control Voldemort.
The last full-site update ended at 4:52 AM on July 9. --Max W. 22:11, 8 July 2007 (MST)
ATTN: CAAers
It appears that many CAA folk have been posting assorted tiny bits of info about their sites and/or pictures into the middle and/or top of assorted pages. Firstly, I would like simply to point out that you should use proper formatting. Secondly, please do not intrude upon the established order of sites. The order is based vaguely on size and amount of tradition, and goes as follows: Lancaster -> Carlisle -> Siena/Saratoga -> LMU -> JHU -> Hawai'i -> Easton -> Bristol. Sure, I favor my home site, but it is also by far the largest and most tradition-heavy.
All other announcements have been moved into the Help:Editing page. Please read them.
Welcome
This is your CTY website. It's yours. A quick intro:
- Use the RealCTY:Community Portal to see what's new on the site.
- Find and advertise reunions, and plan with friends for next session.
- Play in the Sandbox.
- 72633455064916235913983 (This was the original content of Prune me, move me, change me, share me. It does not appear to hold meaning.)
Before you start editing, read this page.
Please don't destroy pages in any way; many people have worked hard on the success of this site. Deformattings, mass deletions, vandalism, and spamming may result in bannage.
If you like this site, please advertise it. Tell your friends, leave notes in your LiveJournal communities, inform your email buddies, put it in your AIM info, and so on! The more, the merrier.
