Revision as of 14:59, 7 July 2008
RealCTY has completed a full-site update as of 8:26 P.M., July 4, 2008. The CTY sites, Halls of Fame, and Halls of Shame have been exempted. Please help rewrite them. If you are looking for a particular page, take note that unwiki prefixes are being removed from all page titles. The prefixes Course:, Song:, and Site: have been phased out; the prefixes Places: and Canon:CAR have been converted to subpages (Site/places and Canon/CAR respectively); the prefixes Hall of Fame: and Hall of Shame: will be changed eventually. |
The CTY Lancaster page has been fully written and revised. Please feel free to revel in its glory. |
Please read the entire Main Page before editing RealCTY or attending CTY '08. Thanks! |
RealCTY is looking for images for its articles. If you have any images that do not violate CTY's photography policy and that would be useful for articles, please email them to Max or upload them to the site |
Dearest CTY Overlords of Baltimore and their Minions of Various Statuses:
Please do not ban our lying on the grass. It provides students with what is perhaps the most relaxed climate for social interaction and building friendships. They kindle strong friendships that last even after session ends, which is very important to many of the students, who are often socially isolated outside of CTY -- before they attend. I implore you to maintain CTY as a place not only of academic education, but of life education and social development. Students have never been known to do anything inappropriate while lying on the grass with heads on friends' stomachs -- I think you will agree that movement is quite restricted in such a position. If nomenclature becomes an issue, I, and I'm sure, the CTY populace, will happily work to oust any problematic words from our traditional CTY vocabulary on this site and in as many sessions and sites as we have the influence to do so.
Thank you kindly.

RealCTY, For You, From You
Charlie McGeorge, operator of PCTYD, came up with the idea of collecting anything that CTYers write or record during CTY. In other words, if you journal or write anything or sketch anything while at CTY, please keep it. It'd be great if you could do so and then post things on your Userpages here at RealCTY. Charlie also wants to collect some of the stuff for use in his CTY magazine called "Forevermore." It's still in its early stages, and it doesn't quite look fantastic yet, but if you would allow him to use your accounts, please make note of it wherever you post said accounts on RealCTY (again, Userpages are good), or email them to him (check PCTYD for his email).
Enjoy your summers, everyone!
All other announcements have been moved into the RealCTY:Announcements page. Please read them.

Before you start editing, read this page.
Please don't destroy pages in any way; many people have worked hard on the success of this site. Deformattings, mass deletions, vandalism, and spamming may result in bannage.
If you like this site, please advertise it. Tell your friends, leave notes in your LiveJournal communities, inform your email buddies, put it in your AIM info, and so on! The more, the merrier.
