Albert Hsu

Albert Hsu: most obnoxious rapper of all time? Blackest Asian in the world? Butt buddies with James Kong? Or imaginative pioneer of today's activity frontier, creating activities ranging from Caveman and Ninja to Do You Have Game? I'll tell you one thing he's not folks; a bad RA.

As a matter of fact, Albert Hsu was perhaps one of the greatest RAs to ever set foot on JHU for the time period of Session 1, 2008. In addition to kicking ass and taking names by screaming "WHAT ARE YOU DOING WRONG?!", he had a plethora of women chasing him down and playing the all time favorite game of everyone when bored, "Big Booty". On a more serious note, his loving and more caring side was shown through his love and care for his amazingly rigged hall, which consisted of Tae Kim, Sujoy Bose, Max Lee, Ainesh Ravi, Jon Ho, Jon Y, Andy, Charles, Justin, Dylan, Arjun, Peter, Li Gu, Howard, Hangil, Kameron and honorary members Jun Ueki and Abhinav "Beans" Gupta. His loyalty to friends was obvious, for he had arrived at JHU Session 1 with 4 of his friends (also RAs) from elementary school and beyond: James Kong, Randall Li, Shawn Cabinian, and Jon Ferng. Being crowned as CTY Prom King, I think I speak for everyone in saying "WAT DA 'EL?!". He will be missed dearly. Along with James Kong, Albert left CTY before Session 2, though he did return at least two more times in Session 2 to help guide the activities he invented the previous session.

He is also a ninja.

James Kong

What is a James Kong? Well, he was an RA at JHU 08.1, a fatherly figure to the Ethics and Genetics boys. His hall consisted of Conrad Damstra, Byron Lee, Garrett Kingman, Eugene Wang, Brian "Hung Lo" Park, Zachary Liu, Kevin Liu, Kevin Chen, Derek Jang, Ethan Li, Charles Bagley, Josh Kornblatt, and Abhinav "Beans" Gupta.

He will be remembered as the RA that was switched into Joyce's hall, where then he was harassed by her girls. For example, he was sprayed with Victoria's Secret perfume. Also, several girls purposely forgot their lanyards in their rooms and made him go get spare keys. It was a lovely day for the girls in Joyce's hall, indeed. Not to mention, the Genetics girls of Joyce's hall had a "thing" for him.

James Kong was also known to be the RA for the hall whose boy was caught with a Kama Sutra book, and later appeared in the RA newsletter. However, he was a very nice RA and let the boy go, knowing that the young boy would learn from his mistakes and become a better person. However, much to his ignorance, he had 2 other boys who had bought similar books, and condoms.

He was voted by many to be the Prom Queen with his colleague C. Flow, but things didn't work out.

boy:AHHHHHHHH THERES SOO MUCH BLOOOOD!!!!

james:......... why so serious?

boy:hey james do you want the kama sutra?

james:why would i need a kama sutra when i have a computer in my room

(At 11:30 pm)

james:why are you guys still awake? its been ten minutes since i called lights out.

james: F*** this im going to albert

WHY SO SERIOUS????

Pasha Tchourilov

Pasha Tchourilov is probably the most beloved of all RAs to ever set foot on the JHU campus. During the year of 2007, he worked at both sessions of CTY. The real "Pasha Fan Club", however, developed during the latter half of his CTY experience.

During 07.1, Pasha was often ill-tempered towards particular CTYers, which resulted in lots of entertainment for the friends of those CTYers. Most notable was when he told a female CTYer that her hall could "drip dry" after that CTYer asked her RA to get toilet paper for their bathroom, although most people thought that he was joking. The CTYer in question maintained that he was only angry because he was too busy flirting with her RA.

It was during 07.2 that Pasha made the most lasting impression. Throughout the session, Pasha's kids, all eleven of them, in fact, would shout "PA-SHA!!" whenever they came within fifty feet of him (see the Lexicon entry). At first, Pasha's kids made quite an infamous name for themselves during the showing of Harry Potter: Prisoner of Azkaban (first Thursday) by laughing hysterically at the vaguely suggestive lines in the movie and starting massive waves to amuse the highly bored CTYers.

One extremely significant point that must be made about Pasha is that he is Russian. The nametags in his hall all bore the KGB emblem; the kids were all Russian agents, and Pasha was the Chairman, or Председатель. More importantly however, Pasha has the funniest Russian accent ever! This special talent of his was showcased during the Talent Show showing of "Real World: Baltimore".

Pasha's Kids

As for Pasha's Session 2 Hall, members include (in no particular order):

Kevin Wu, Miles Black, Henly Ko, Ian Yu, Joe Donohoe, Kevin Yang, James Liu, Arko Mukherjee, Utkarsh Saddi, Ariel Lim, and Lawrence Chow.

In Pasha's Session 2 Hall, preceding the second dance Kevin Yang, Henly Ko, Miles Black and occasionally Kevin Wu broke into a laughing fit. These boys could be seen all over the campus cracking up, so hard that it became noticeable that breathing was a difficult task. Some of the jokes included: dead baby jokes, the "bunga" joke, pulling the finger and of course there were more. Those who attended that session could see that the effects of this laughing hysteria would carry on for the next few days.

Pasha's Fan Club

Pasha was also quite the lady's man, having swooned Steph's (a.k.a. Feffie, a.k.a. Stephalephagus) entire hall (Session 2). Those included the Bio and Genetics girls: Isha Desai, Jan Gong, Katja Lazar, Vy Le, Kat Zhao, Nina Kuzman, Priyanka Tivle, Jess Wang, Halie Warner, Diana Wu, Minkyung Yi, and of course his biggest fan, Megan Lynch.

In fact, Megan pretty much lead the extremely loud "HI PASHA!" cries. The girls also constantly teased Steph and Pashsa's non-existent relationship. In fact they said "PASHEEE!" whenever taking group pictures, had magic tricks with the Pasha bills, and showed up at the second dance covered in Pasha bills. Along with loving Pasha, the girls loved his hall so much that he called Steph to tell her that they had been been calling his boys all night and the two halls were separated during the Talent Show: how sad. Of course this did not kill the bond the two halls shared. Megan lives 15 minutes away from Pasha!

YouTube Videos

Through the generous filming talents of Ian Yu and Kevin Wu, videos of Pasha are in abundance. Here are links to the best of the best of 07.2!
