Site Description
From the CTY Summer Catalog:
Nestled in the heart of New York City across the street from New York’s famed Central Park, Dwight School is a co-educational school serving 800 students. Educating students for over 140 years, Dwight School was the first school in the United States to offer a comprehensive International Baccalaureate program for students in preschool through 12th grade. The school’s facilities include a library, science labs, and air-conditioned classrooms.
Classes are scheduled Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Before- and after-school programs are available at an additional cost. Students should expect between 30 and 60 minutes of homework each week night. Approximately 220 students and 45 staff are expected to attend each session.
Dwight School’s North Campus (Central Park West) is located in the Upper West Side of Manhattan, directly across from Central Park on 89th Street. Carpool information, public transportation information, maps, and directions will be mailed with your course notification.
