Hey, it's Jane from LOS.08.1.ETHC and LOS.09.1.WRT3.B. The one with curly brown hair, loud-ish, constantly giving hugs and having sketchy conversations and laugh attacks. Many many many laugh attacks.

Yeah, I'm generally not too notable.

Hi, I'm Jane, an LOSer from the bay area (east bay specifically, whadduppp.) Semi-traditionalist for three years and, against everybody's expectations, I nomored out in 2010 for  a myriad of reasons.

Oh yeah, I was the girl who played the guitar in the talent show. The one who had feedback from the microphones for like 30 seconds in the middle of the act. Yeah, that one. In 09 I was a quasi-nevermore and was permanently attached to the CogPsych family. I also was the one that sang in Forevermore with the 2 tall guys on guitars and Fuzz, the short one playing a ukulele. I was in Seasons of Love in both 08 and 09.

My class and hall in 08 were absolutely amazing, I loved all of you guys. <3333 (Even my insane roommate, Melina. Who I shall eventually kill, after threatening to do so many many times throughout the session.) My incredibly squirrel-y hall in 09 was also pretty epic and produced some amazing quotes. ("His head is the size of Africa." "My boobs are the size of Vatican City." "Vegetable off! Uh... BOK CHOI!") And I love pretty much everybody from LMU to be honest.

CTY has changed me in more ways than I've ever thought possible. I wrote this page about... a year ago previously? And wow, I'm so different now. I'm not totally sure who I am yet, but I'm trying to figure that out.

Where you might have seen me: Well, for one, I am LOUD and pretty damn obnoxious. I'm Jewish and yes, you can tell straight away when you meet me. At Stanford I say that "big black horse and a cherry tree" song during the talent show. From 08-10, I was in Seasons of Love. In 08 I was the first act of the talent show singing "Die Alone"; in 09 I was in a band with Blum, Fuzz, and John Wise singing Forevermore; and in 2010 I sang "You Were" by Julia Nunes, gave a little speech about nomores, and also sang "Falling Slowly" with Christian Miller, my best frannnn.

I love giving hugs. Seriously. If you ever need a hug stop by.

For Jews: I'm in BBYO. CRW #45, L'hadash Ahava BBG #2120, my heart and soul <3 BBYO has had just as big of an impact on my life as CTY and it's big reason why I decided to nomore out.

Between 08 and 09 I got significantly louder, not too significantly taller, and much, much more CTY.

This is being written on August 3rd, 2010, and honestly it hasn't hit me yet that I won't go back. My life can be summarized in Julia Nunes song lyrics:

For '10 I am thinking of doing law and politics or pop culture at either LOS or LAN, if I go back to CTY (which depends on if I get financial aid for Jew Camp or get into CSSSA InnerSpark.) But I will DEFINITELY be back for nevermore year, no matter what.

For Jews: I'm in BBYO. CRW #45, L'hadash Ahava BBG #2120, my heart and soul <3 BBYO has had just as big of an impact on my life as CTY and it's big reason why I decided to nomore out.

This is being written on August 3rd, 2010, and honestly it hasn't hit me yet that I won't go back. My life can be summarized in Julia Nunes song lyrics:

I'm just stupid enough to leave you behind, though you're like nothing I have found or will find.

I'm not so scared.
