Wow, a lot has changed since I first wrote this.
Hi, I'm Jane, an LOSer from the bay area (east bay specifically, whadduppp.) Semi-traditionalist for three years and, against everybody's expectations, I nomored out in 2010 for a myriad of reasons.

CTY has changed me in more ways than I've ever thought possible. I wrote this page about... a year ago previously? And wow, I'm so different now. I'm not totally sure who I am yet, but I'm trying to figure that out.
Where you might have seen me: Well, for one, I am LOUD and pretty damn obnoxious. I'm Jewish and yes, you can tell straight away when you meet me. At Stanford I say that "big black horse and a cherry tree" song during the talent show. From 08-10, I was in Seasons of Love. In 08 I was the first act of the talent show singing "Die Alone"; in 09 I was in a band with Blum, Fuzz, and John Wise singing Forevermore; and in 2010 I sang "You Were" by Julia Nunes, gave a little speech about nomores, and also sang "Falling Slowly" with Christian Miller, my best frannnn.
For Jews: I'm in BBYO. CRW #45, L'hadash Ahava BBG #2120, my heart and soul <3 BBYO has had just as big of an impact on my life as CTY and it's big reason why I decided to nomore out.
This is being written on August 3rd, 2010, and honestly it hasn't hit me yet that I won't go back. My life can be summarized in Julia Nunes song lyrics:
I'm just stupid enough to leave you behind, though you're like nothing I have found or will find.
I'm not so scared.
