Hey! Sorry for not responding earlier to your edit on my talk page, but Max blocked Jonkrauss2 for page deletion soon after you mentioned him. Just thought I'd mention it in case you didn't know! Thanks so much for being diligent as always :) --Cathynie (talk) 14:05, 13 April 2017 (EDT)

Revision as of 13:05, 13 April 2017

Hey Luke(?),

The template pages for other sites were locked because most editors of RealCTY aren't familiar with wiki markup, and further, I wanted to specifically protect them from vandalism. It might be worth opening them up again for the reason you expressed; I'll get back to you soon. In the meantime, it looks like you've created a lot of new sidebar templates, but they all take up almost 2/3 of the vertical space of the page. Can you try to fix that?

Hey—I noticed that you've been copy and pasting a lot of content from the CTY website onto RealCTY. Are you sure that text falls in the public domain? I'm pretty sure it expressly isn't... in which case, can you please undo your edits, rolling them back (to clear them from the history) where possible? If you can't do rollbacks, feel free to provide me a list of links to articles in which you transcluded text from the CTY website. --Max W. (talk) 12:55, 19 March 2016 (EDT)

I know where they're copied from—but that doesn't mean that they should be copied. Can you remove them?

Hi Luke,

I'm not completely familiar with CTY Ireland's canon and history, but I saw your edits to the Dublin, Ireland page. I wasn't sure whether you accidentally edited an old version of the page (which would cause it to revert all changes made after that point by other users) or whether some songs were deemed non-canon. Either way, a lot of songs were deleted completely from the list and I wanted to let you know that I added them back for the time being.

Here's a link comparing the edits before and after songs were deleted: http://www.realcty.org/index.php?title=Dublin,_Ireland&curid=5019&diff=36817&oldid=36472

Thanks! --Cathynie (talk) 22:15, 7 August 2016 (EDT)

Hey again Luke, Don't worry about it :) I just wanted to make sure that the deletions weren't an accident and that they were accurate. It's all good! --Cathynie (talk) 16:54, 12 August 2016 (EDT)

Hey again! I saw your edits to the Memories:BRI page, and I just wanted to say thank you so much for doing such a great job organizing the page! It looks great now! :) --Cathynie (talk) 13:45, 14 August 2016 (EDT)

Hi Luke,

I recently made a MediaWiki version update to RealCTY in order to fix an issue with sending account verification emails on account creation. Unfortunately, in doing so, I accidentally dropped all the images that were uploaded in the past year. This is absolutely my bad, and I'm making improvements to my backup flow to make sure that images get backed up in addition to article content. You made a lot of good image contributions to site articles in the past year—if you still have those images, and you're interested and willing, please go ahead and re-upload them. (You can see your list of image uploads here.)

I'm really sorry for this mistake. You certainly aren't obliged to do anything, but I wanted to let you know so that you were aware and could act on this information if you wished.

Awesome—thanks! --Max W. (talk) 15:43, 19 September 2016 (EDT)
