CAA is a program run by Johns Hopkins which is similar to CTY, but with a broader range of entrance scores. For example, a 7th grader intrested in a CTY humanities course must have a verbal score greater than 510. For CAA, they only need a score greater than 410. CAA is belived to stand for "Center for Academic Advancement" but this cannot be confirmed...because it does not appear to be stated anywhere on the Offical CTY/CAA web site! Though it is stated on the class description brochures mailed out. (I was a former CAAer ~Rachel)
