The Almighty Bob was born somewhere within the last one hundred years. Her mother was a hamster and her father smelled of elderberries--'twas very sad.

Sharon Lurye has written over 18 books for children and 27 childish books for adults. She was born in Ridgewood, New Jersey. An oracle prophecied that she would eventually taken over the Earth, so her parents abandoned her in the woods. She was raised by wolves until she was fourteen, when she decided to get an education at the local high school. Mr. Lurye currently lives in a fjord, where she spends her time writing, studying biology, and worshipping Godzilla.
