Illuminati

Illuminati is a specialty card game published by Steve Jackson Games.

Each player chooses a particular conspiratorial group, such as the Gnomes of Zurich or the Cult of the Subgenius. Each conspiratorial group has a unique goal, such as amassing money or controlling a certain number of other, minor groups such as the Mafia. During the game, players fight for control of minor groups, which are then arranged in complex hierarchies that stem from the players' primary groups. Gameplay ends when a player has reached his or her conspiratorial group's goal.

Originally a collectible card game, Illuminati is now sold as a single set. Variations and expansions on the basic set are also sold.
