Residential Staff
Quentin Blanchett
Quentin Blanchet served two sessions as an RA at Seattle University (13.1-.2). He is known for his French accent and outstanding sense of humor. Every morning he greeted his hall with the classic "C'mon guys, time to go" in, of course, a French accent. Under his tutelage, his hall also helped establish The Final Countdown as a canon song in Seattle.
In 13.2, his floor won a contest allowing one member of the each RA group on floor 3 to pie anyone in the camp. In a surprise, the hall prompted Quentin to pie the SRA Kevin.
In 2016, he was an SRA at the now defunct Palo Alto YS site.
Sofi Halpin
Sofi Halpin, like Quentin, served two sessions as an RA at Seattle University (17.1 and 17.2). She was practically worshiped by her hall and organized many somewhat popular line dancing activities and a Glee Club, which performed at the Talent Show along with RA Ryan. She was known by a sizable part of the CTY population for oversleeping and forgetting her lanyard, shoes, and one of her kids in the dorms after a hasty head count. Her hall won Casino Night and were planning to pie RA Kendall, but Sofi conveniently forgot and a pieing did not occur, but no one really cared. It should be noted that RA Kendall absolutely refused to be pied and Sofi, deciding to respect her wish, didn't let her hall chose Kendall. Her hall was very indecisive, and, as a result, there was no one to be pied in the first place. Sofi also caused a lot of confusion at the end of the session by claiming that she, RA Kendall, RA Owen, and RA Jacob were quadruplets. She managed to fool nearly everyone, entertaining some with crazy stories and explanations that were somehow believed. The "quadruplets" slipped twice about having other siblings and ended having to make up an older and younger sister. Sofi also removed all the nametags on the 7th floor so that CTYers wouldn't notice their last names were different. She eventually restored them, but RA Kendall's was lost forever. The entire fiasco was rather impressive. Near the end of the session, she told the hall it was a hoax, and RA Kendall supposedly told her hall the same thing while they were in the elevator after the last dance.
