The Advanced Critical and Cultural Studies Program was a CTY program similar to that of CTY Princeton as it consisted of more mature and specialized courses with an increased focus on students' interaction with the humanities of history, English, and psychology. It was designed for 15-17-year-olds. The initial site was supposed to be Yale University in New Haven, but the location was scrapped and sent to Carlisle, where it operated during the summer of 2018. The program only offered three courses (originally six).
Offered:
- Madness and Insanity: A Social History: (SANE) Sample Syllabus
- Playing God: The Ethics of Human Subjects Research: (PGOD)
- You Will Be Offended: Satire, Comedy, and Public Discourse: (OFND)
Never offered, but in the original catalog:
- Fight the Power: Music and Social Change: (FPOW)
- Gender Bending: A Cultural History: (GBEN)
- The Secret History of the USA: (SHIS)
