"The Alcove - n. A group of perpetually horny bisexuals." ~Unnamed
About Me
Hi, I'm Aquadrizzt. My real name is Andrew (Andy). I'm a bisexual (and fomosexual) and a member of the Alcove. Unfortunately, I am a two more, and I missed the first two possible years of my CTY experience (I could have been a five year freak). I swim, run and play water polo. I will be a dual-sessioner for the next two years (hopefully) and I'll make the best of the time I have.
I am (quote) absolutely amazing (end quote) with duct tape.
I was amazingly bored one rainy Saturday (first Saturday 10.2) and I decided to make a duct tape vest. (Note: This is my first ever duct tape project bigger than a wallet.) After burning through three (or four...) rolls of duct tape, I had a huge sheet of fabric (3' by 5'). The next several hours were spent turning it into a vest (cutting holes, folding and tailoring). Then, Alex, came up to me and told me that the vest would make an excellent Riff Raff costume. Several hours later, a complete Riff Raff vest was made (including coat tails, duct tape buttons (held on with duct tape string), and a pocket.) The fate of this costume is still unknown (although it has been said that it will be used as the Riff Raff costume for Lancaster at least next year (and probably the year after.))
So yeah...if you want any duct tape clothing, just contact me (post on my talk page).
I am a twomore.
CTY Experiences
FCPS B. LAN. 10.2
This was my first ever CTY experience. I remember having this dream about it that it would be horrible, boring, and just dull. I got there the first day, a squirrel, with no idea what to expect. I had heard of the Alcove, but I wasn't quite sure if I wanted to join. So I (for lack of a better term) observed them for a week. I decided to join, though I was worried that I wouldn't fit in there. I could describe the many, many experiences I shared with the 10.2 Alcovians, but I'll summarize it into a sentence (which will probably end up in my Passionfruit speech). "Friends like the ones I made there (in those two weeks), you just don't find those kind of people in real life. It has taken me my entire life to find three friends that I trust and enjoy the presence of as the people I met two weeks ago."
