Malibu was a Baby CTY site at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. It closed down in 2002 when the location was moved to Loyola Marymount.
Site Description
Pepperdine University was founded in September of 1937 by George Pepperdine. They were flourishing in Los Angeles, until they didn't have enough room for just one campus. They were given a grant of 138 acres in Malibu in 1968. The Malibu campus did not open until 1972. They made the permanent move to Malibu after enrollment dropped in LA and Los Angeles was closed in 1981. And the campus is still being expanded to this day.
