A tradition at Lancaster, during Oh L'Amour, is that everyone sits on the ground in a somewhat semi-circle shape, with their legs cross, 'Indian style'. During the verses, you slap your knees twice, then clap twice, staying in beat of course. During the chorus, it changes to slapping your knees once, then clapping once.
