JAMES YU

An eccentric, quite insane, always hyper, never sad, crazy, always singing, Avatar-loving, Harry Potter geek and sort of look-alike with questionable energy reserves. He always seems to be hyper and happy even when everyone else is tired. He's an endless stream of random comments and hilarity. Known for obsession with many things, including penguins, Kingdom Hearts, Disney, and Avatar the Last Airbender, he uses references a lot when talking. He's also a ninja, who plays Ninja a lot and cheats by using moves such as somersaults and spinning to gain a lot of distance in a single move (others generally approve). He also gives good hugs and is generally innocent (getting more and more corrupted as his friends get older and older). Being so innocent, he has no problem creeping people out for a laugh and going up and talking to random people and somehow managing to make new friends instead of getting slapped across the face. He is known for his constant singing, which never fails to drive people nuts. He is particularly well known for singing Defying Gravity, which in fact is his favourite song of all time, as well as many classic Disney songs. He likes to draw, read, and write during his free time, as well as play Kingdom Hearts and watch TV and hang out with his friends. He is a notoriously loud freshman in ABRHS (Acton-Boxborough Regional High School), especially because he's in the band, playing French Horn (the crazy section filled with insane mooses that can't stop laughing). He is an Honorary Dance Troupe for the Jazz Band, who's always swing dancing in a corner during their rehearsals and performances.

He is Korean by nationality. He has visited every continent except Antarctica. He lived in many different countries, including: Korea, New Zealand, Canada, and USA. He currently lives in Acton, Massachusetts.

Let the records show that it was James who made the Gretchen "Renee" Vogt + Andrew Chang relationship happen. It was during a Meet Market at CTY.CAR.10.2 when he popped in between them while they and their friends were sitting in a circle. He told Renee what Andrew confided with him earlier that day - that Andrew had a crush on her. Then James went to ask both of them whether they would like to go out with the other. They both answered "Er, yeah... maybe." Then Andrew went ahead and officially asked Renee out (rather awkwardly) and from then, they were a couple. They are no longer dating, however, having broken up sometime after CTY. They still remain good friends.

Let the records also show that Kate Broekman forced him to dress up for Drag Day... ...

THE BET

Gretchen "Renee" Vogt, Kate Broekman, and James Yu all got involved in a certain bet. It is a bet that whoever can manage to get a CTYbf first during CTY.11.2 will win the control over the AIDS water bottle (Robin Guo used it previously as well as many people - therefore it has been contaminated with powerful Collegiate AIDS) and what to do with it. James is very disappointed that getting a CTYgf does not do any good for the bet.
