Originally from New Zealand, James's voice is often accompanied by a NZ accent (usually mistaken for a British accent, as they sound extremely similar). He's lived in/been to dozens of other places (Korea, Canada, Japan, Missouri, among others). He now lives in Acton, Massachusetts, and attends Acton-Boxborough Regional High School.

Memories:

Skidmore Eleven: James was one of the 11 Skidmorians that were kicked out for sneaking out of the dorms in SAR.12.1. He was part of the group on the roof of Tang Museum, though he began his sneak out with the other group.

Lightning Dance: During a dance in both CTY.LAN.11.2 and CTY.LAN.12.2, James (with Liz Parker in 11.2, Gina Foley in 12.2) performed dance move recognisable as the motion for redirecting lightning from Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra. It spread through the entire dance floor, having at least half the camp following the dance move, including the RAs.

Halloween: For both his sessions at Lancaster, James won the Halloween Costume Contest. In 11.2, he won as Harry Potter (complete with light-up wand and full robe, performing the spell, Lumos) with his HP alter ego, Bhavi Patel. In 12.2, he won as the Doctor (complete with tweed jacket and sonic screwdriver, performing the eccentric TARDIS dance) with his TARDIS, Temitayo Wolff.

Marriages: James is notorious for his extensive marriages. In CAR.10.2, he married exactly 100 people. In LAN.11.2, he disappointingly only married 7. However, in LAN.12.2, he got his husband/wife count back up to 54.

Jessie Vissicchio: Over the first three years of both their CTY history, they ended up in the same site and session every time without planning to. James's hallmate, John Hollander, was Jessie's CTY boyfriend at JHU.09.2. James's classmate, Kate Broekman, was Jessie's roommate at CAR.10.2. However, they did not truly become close friends until LAN.11.2. Jessie, unfortunately, could not come back to CTY.12, but she did manage to sneak onto campus on the first Sunday of LAN.12.2, using a borrowed watermelon lanyard and the ID card of another friend. They had a great time reuniting until it was time for hall bonding and she had no option but to turn herself in to the main office, where she waited for her ride home.

Logan Cody: This is rather long story of love triangles upon love triangles, but to put it simply, James and Logan met in LAN.11.2 and now, since 22nd of September, 2012, they are happily in a relationship (though long distance really sucks), and have officially been dubbed the cutest CTY couple of the year (by authority unknown or forgotten).
