Talent Show
A Talent Show at CTY usually involves very unusual skills that are possessed by us lovable weirdos who attend camp.

Lancaster
Both student and staff talent shows are held at Lancaster (Session 2) on separate days. In Session 1, there is only a student show, giving the staff an unfair advantage in practice time. On the last Tuesday and Wednesday, the talent shows are held in place of activities. The next day, Friday (calendar Thursday), was historically the day of key and fob return, although due to the new self-locking doors, this has since been changed to the morning of the last day.

Los Angeles (LMU)
At LMU, the staff and students both perform in the same talent show. The talent show is on the second Saturday of the session, or second Sunday of some sessions when the gymnasium is not available on the Saturday, and lasts three hours with an intermission. During the intermission, occasionally, refreshments will be offered. During 2009, both the first and second session talent show were held in the Amphitheatre. During the talent show, there is a special nevermore/nomore song that happens at the end of the talent show, in which the nevermores [and, in second session, nomores] come up and sway in front of the stage while a select few are onstage and sing the song. In first session, the song is Seasons of Love from the musical Rent, started in 06.1. In second session, the song is Leaving on a Jet Plane by John Denver, and was started by Leah Steuer in 2005 and continued by Zoe Grieder in 2007, Mary, Heidi Quach, Katie and Chelsea Leu, and Divya Goel in 2008, and Brice Green, Allegra Choi & David Krucik in 2009.
