Accelerated Grade 1 Mathematics is a CTY Online that has a prerequisite of the required math score on standardized tests supplied by the parent. It's course code is AG1 and is typically 6 months.

Course Description

From the CTY Online catalog:

The Accelerated Grade 1 Mathematics program covers topics typically found in a first grade curriculum and is aligned with the Common Core Standards. This course begins with a review of basic math fundamentals covered in a kindergarten curriculum. Students are actively engaged with online lessons and practice activities based on real-word situations to help them better understand the world around them. The course sharpens investigative skills, broadens mathematical understanding, and enhances proficiency in reasoning. Understanding of the material is assessed through challenging homework activities, quizzes, module tests, and cumulative exams. Online interactives in this course are provided by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt.
